Story

A mother's name.

The origin of all Adelaide's art.

Artemisia comes from an ancient name: Artemide, the Greek goddess of the hunt, the moon, and freedom.

It is also his mother's name: Artemide.

She was 27 when she left for Italy, searching for a home and a future.
Behind her: two young daughters, a husband, elderly parents.
Ahead: uncertainty, loneliness, hope.

During that journey, in search of work, a home, a new life,  the accident happened.
A car. A coma. A wheelchair as destiny.
When she woke up, she saw the frightened eyes of her little girls.
And from that moment, she began again.
She learned to walk again, even though doctors had confirmed she never would.

Artemide can do anything she sets her mind to.
She changed hundreds of jobs while being a mother, a daughter, a wife,
without truly knowing the language.
Yet every evening, she came home with a smile so radiant it made her look invincible.
She never wanted pain to be seen , only love.

Nine years later, she gave birth to her third son.
And fourteen years after that, to Adelaide.
Adelaide grew up with Aida’s strength in her eyes
and a fire burning inside:
“One day, I’ll give you everything a human being deserves and even more.”

Because Artemide is not just a human being.

She's an angel,

And she is the first Artemisia.

THE HEART OF THE MAGAZINE

A project born from immense love and deep gratitude

But also from a vision.

Artemide is a kaleidoscope of passions:

She loves music, painting, fine-art photography, haute couture, and travel.
She’s a woman who has always seen beauty where others saw struggle.
And this magazine reflects her gaze: cultured, sensitive, free.
Artemisia is not just an editorial container.
It’s a declaration of intent.
A poetic statement.
It holds entire worlds:
Tokyo and fashion, inclusivity and femininity,
childlike sweetness and adult strength.
It is a space for exploration and storytelling,
where every word, every image, every story
is carefully chosen.

ARTEMISIA IS

An independent, thematic magazine.
A refuge for those who see themselves in sweetness just as much as in courage.
A home for those who believe art is a mirror of the soul.
A mother–daughter project that patiently waited for its moment,
and now, it’s here.

and now, it's here.

This is Artemisia.

And this is just the beginning.
